While ducklings are hatching
and tube socks are matching,
I've slowly been catching the flu.
Young animals racing.
The doctor keeps pacing.
He's thinking of mating with you.
I don't know the difference
between cold resistance
and subtle persistence, it's true.
There's mice in the ceiling.
I don't like this feeling.
She's kindly revealing the truth.
While kittens are playing
and housewives are praying,
I'm thinking of staying inside.
The breadcrumbs are falling.
Your doctor is calling.
He's proud of how calmly he lied.
I can't quite determine
how this type of vermin
is capable of feeling pride.
Forget confrontation.
We need a vacation.
Our hearts beat along with the tides.
