Here in my patio, watching it rain.
Fireflies talking in code.
The sweat on my bottle leaves tabletop rings.
The crab grass needs mowed.
And the air smells clean and sweet.

Listening to Nick Drake and feeling the breeze.
Barefoot and locked in the zone.
Watching an ant push a crumb 'cross the floor.
I'm the only one home.

Starting to daydream I'm flying again.
I'm lucid and centered and calm.
Floating through landscapes of mountainous trees.
My worries are gone.
And the air feels crisp and cool.
